My story began many moons ago when I grew up in Sydney northern Beaches & worked in some of Sydney finest fashion houses, before my curiosity led me into the world to study the processes of fashion design & garment construction.

The course was an extensive 3 year full time commitment

Knowing every student enrolled, had previous sewing experience, was a challenge for me, due to never owning a sewing machine or knowing the processors of sewing techniques...was a "sink or swim" experience of perseverance.

I spent many nights sewing with other student friends in a rented terrace in Sydney's suburb, Paddington. Our lounge room was filled sewing machines, overlockers, rolls of fabric & a very large 5 metre pattern making table, made by my dad. We'd pull all nighter's to fulfill the mammoth amount of work required. The course was labour intensive allowing my curiosity to understand the endless hours of dedication, time & commitment involved in becoming a fashion designer.

My course also provided many creative skills including, pattern making, design, fabric & textile appreciation, art & life drawing. Many of theses teachings has enabled me to utilise these techniques to this day.

After completing my diploma in fashion I explored the opportunity to work as an assistant designer in some Sydney's leading fashion houses before moving to the Central Coast.

During my first year I was invited to design, make & create costumes for international multi talented director/ performer & artist, Yantra De Vilder production Latitude 33 & Haiku fimed @ Gosford's Regonial Gallery

2010, Naisda Dance contacted me to work as the official costume designer for their end of year dance performances at The Carriage Works.

Working alongside Bangarra's, multi award winner, director & choreographer Frances Rings, arts director, Jasmine Goulash & the beautiful Naisda dance, graduates was joyful in every sense. My creations & designs were in timely unison with Naisda's 40 year, anniversary celebration featured on SBS.

The rest is history.

My label offers timeless fashion with the goal to create clothing for each individual who understands my ethos behind the intention to source & combine fabric & create wearable art, creating clothing of unique distinction.

Eclectic Creator is striving to work consciously, towards sustainable, environmentally friendly fashion with zero waste. In moving forward, our greatest concerns for climate change has already had observable effects on the environment already. Unless humanity unites & consciously works together towards resolving such issues of concern.

My exuberance & ethos is to encapsulate freedom to feel & embody each spirits frequency & vibrancy. To create original, magical, mystical clothing that emanates beauty & elegance. Nature connects my soul holistically & inspires me to fully manifest its natural beauty energetically through my work & paintings

Each season will feature new handmade collection pieces made with love, in my studio in N.S.W Central Coast & is available online or @Avoca Beachside Markets.

My desire is to create timeless fashion infused with elegance & playfulness. My creations don't follow trends, my focus is to create clothing from a space of self expression, clothes that exude mystical, sensuality & embrace your divine self, uninhibited.

We're honoured to present & feature Wickarts beautiful, crystalline, alchemy & aromatherapy, skin care products. Melissa a Mystical Alchemist @ wickart_australia & works with the sacred medicine of plants, oils & herbs. Her products create a platform for each individual to know their soul’s Inner Whispers and answer our deep calling to truly connect & empower others towards establishing & accessing inner rituals & practices
